New arrival!

Hello!

On 23rd September, my son Arun@ Tinku became a dad! To me, it appears a bit improbable because he is still like a boy he was a decade ago! This is how most of the parents are likely to feel about their offsprings! Any way it was the most joyous occasion for us after Ammu's and Krishna's birth in 2003 and 2006 respectively. The new born a girl, is, according to many, is more like Tinku. Well, I don't know really. What we pray is for good health and long life for Nikki (she is going to be named Niharika on 20th Oct. Since Amritha's house is quite close by, we get sometime to spend with the baby everyday. The proud parents of the baby girl are excited and thrilled and take turns to cuddle her. Tinku finds difficult to move away from his daughter. He has become adept in changing nappies and putting the baby to sleep. I feel guilty when I think I carried Nisha and Tinku only after a month since their birth because I was scared about the baby slipping from my hands and falling down! I don't think I was much of a help either to Suma when Nisha or Tinku was a small baby. The youngsters these days learn faster to be a good parent. That'll help the babies to grow more confidently in a very loving and caring domestic environment.
Aunty Nisha (Nisha Valliamma) and the family were in London when Nikki was born. But Lakshmi Cheriamma visited Palakkad to see the baby. I know how Nisha Va will be longing to cuddle her 'little' brother's baby! More than anybody, Ammu and Kriishna are most excited; Krishna wanted too see the baby even when Amritha was carrying her. He used to pat her big tummy and order ' 'I want the baby now! '
